Massachusetts Files CAN-SPAM Suit
"In what is being considered the first suit to be brought by a state under the federal Can-Spam Act, the Massachusetts Attorney General's office has filed a claim against a Florida man suspected of sending bulk email to thousands of consumers, CNET News.com reports. Carson is the reported proprietor of DC Enterprises, also named in the suit. State AG Tom Reilly's office has issued a press release. CNET News.com has more.
