WW II Memorial
The National World War II Memorial opened for public viewing on April 29th and the formal dedication ceremony is taking place tomorrow, May 29, 2004. A companion web site provides information about the dedication, construction, and design of the memorial, an online archive of the project, and a the WWII registry of U.S. citizens who helped win the war.
